A recitation gathering in which students present portions of the Quran with attention to Tajweed.
Students recite selected portions of the Quran before teachers and fellow students, with attention to articulation, pauses and rhythm.
The gathering is intended to encourage careful recitation and to give students experience of reciting in the presence of others.
